          Toretti was born February 24, 1957, in Pittsburgh to Samuel and Nell Jack.

          Toretti’s father ran the oil and gas drilling company in Western Pennsylvania founded by his father. Toretti earned a B.S. in commerce at the University of Virginia in 1981 and returned to Indiana, Pennsylvania, to work at S.W.
